The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released the UPSSSC Special Education Teacher Recruitment 2026 Notification under the Directorate of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
RCI-recognized Diploma in Special Education in the relevant disability area.
Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Additional requirements include:
Knowledge of sign language (for hearing impaired posts).
Knowledge of Braille reading/writing (for visually impaired posts).
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages:
Stage 1 – PET 2025 Score
Candidates must have appeared in PET-2025 and possess a valid score.
Stage 2 – Main Written Examination
Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Main Examination, and the final merit list will be prepared based on Main exam marks.
