For Inter Trained Special Assistant Teacher (Class 1–5):

• Passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks

• Diploma in Special Education (RCI recognized)

• Valid RCI Registration is mandatory

• JTET qualified for Primary Level

For Graduate Trained Special Assistant Teacher (Class 6–8):

• Graduation in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks

• B.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed with Diploma in Special Education (RCI recognized)

• Valid RCI Registration is mandatory

• JTET qualified for Upper Primary Level

Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025)

JSSC Assistant Teacher Salary 2025

• Class 1–5: Pay Matrix Level–4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) + allowances

• Class 6–8: Pay Matrix Level–5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300) + allowances

Selection Process

Selection will be done through Main Written Examination only.

• Paper 1: Mother Tongue (Qualifying – minimum 30%)

• Paper 2: Regional / Tribal Language (100 Marks)

• Paper 3 (Class 1–5): GK, Current Affairs, Science, Maths, Social Science (300 Marks)

• Paper 3 & 4 (Class 6–8):

  • General Knowledge & Child Development (100 Marks)

  • Optional Subject (180 Marks)

There will be no interview.
