CBRAIN Internship 2026

The Centre for Brain Research (CBR) has opened applications for the CBRAIN Internship 2026 program. This internship provides an opportunity for students interested in data science, neuroscience, and health data analysis to work on cutting-edge research related to brain aging and neurodegenerative diseases.

The internship program titled “Cohort Data Curation and Analysis” will allow selected students to work with large-scale multimodal health datasets under the mentorship of leading scientists.

The internship will be conducted in-person at the Centre for Brain Research, and selected candidates will gain hands-on experience in machine learning, data integration, and health data analysis.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Master’s Students

• Final year students of M.Sc / M.Tech / M.E / MCA or equivalent

• Fields such as Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related disciplines

Bachelor’s Students

• Final year students of B.Sc / B.Tech / B.E or equivalent

Candidates from other backgrounds can also apply if they have experience with health or biological data analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Coding knowledge in Python or R

• Knowledge of Machine Learning / AI

• Experience in data analysis or bioinformatics

Internship Duration

• Total Duration: 3 Months

• Preferred Timeline: 01 May – 31 July 2026

Selection Process

The selection process will include:

Shortlisted candidates may be asked for letters of recommendation.
