Introduction

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has officially released the JPSC Drug Inspector Recruitment 2026 notification for the appointment of Drug Inspector posts under the Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare Department, Jharkhand.

JPSC Drug Inspector Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences, OR

  • Degree in Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology

Degree must be obtained from a recognized Indian university.


Experience (For Schedule-C Inspection Authority)

Candidates must have one of the following:

  • 18 months experience in manufacture of Schedule-C drugs, OR

  • 18 months experience in testing Schedule-C drugs in approved lab, OR

  • 3 years experience as Drug Inspector inspecting Schedule-C manufacturing units
