A total of 03 vacancies have been notified for Unreserved (UR) category only.

Approximate Monthly Emoluments (Class ‘Y’ City)

• Junior Hindi Translator: ₹65,500/- per month

• Multi-Tasking Staff: ₹33,650/- per month

CSIR-AMPRI Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions as on 19 February 2026.

A. Educational Qualification & Experience

1. Junior Hindi Translator (JHT-01)

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s Degree from a recognized university in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level
  OR

• Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as compulsory/elective subject at degree level

Additional Requirement:

• Recognized Diploma / Certificate in Translation (Hindi ↔ English)
  OR

• Minimum 2 years of translation experience in Central / State Government offices

Job Responsibilities:
Translation of official and scientific documents, implementation of Official Language policy, preparation of reports and correspondence.

2. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS-01)

Essential Qualification:

• Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent pass from a recognized board

Desirable Qualification:

• Intermediate (12th Class) pass

• Experience in relevant work area

Job Responsibilities:
Office maintenance, hospitality services, record keeping, photocopying, horticulture, transport assistance, guest house upkeep, and other supportive duties.

B. Age Limit (As on 19 February 2026)

Age Relaxation:
As the vacancies are Unreserved (UR), no category-wise relaxation is applicable. Age relaxation for PwBD and other categories will be as per GoI / CSIR rules.

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

1. Trade Test / Written Examination

2. Interview

CSIR-AMPRI Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be appointed as per 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix with applicable allowances.

Salary includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, TA, and other admissible allowances for a Class ‘Y’ city. Employees will also be entitled to benefits such as NPS, Medical facilities, LTC, etc., as per CSIR rules.
