AIIMS NORCET 2025 Overview
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-9) 2025. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 3,500 Nursing Officer posts will be filled across 26 central AIIMS institutions in India. Candidates possessing a B.Sc. Nursing degree or a GNM diploma along with relevant experience can apply online until 11 August 2025

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (As on 11.08.2025):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 years
(Age relaxation as per category rules)
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from any recognized institute OR
- GNM + 2 years experience in minimum 50-bedded hospital
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council

- 100 Questions | 100 Marks
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Syllabus: 80% Nursing + 20% General Aptitude
- Negative Marking: 1/3 per wrong answer
Mains (Stage II)
- 160 Questions | 160 Marks
- Duration: 180 Minutes
- Combined merit of both exams considered for selection
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will get Level 7 pay matrix as per 7th CPC:
₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400/- + other allowances
(Initial salary approx. ₹60,000/month based on location)
